First Look at Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern
A superheroes costume is very important to the fans (you just have to look at the hate-storm brought on by the recent Wonder Woman design) so how is our CG Green Lantern suit looking? We get our first look at Ryan Reynolds in costume courtesy of the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly.
I really like the vein design of the costume, even if his mask does make him look like he’s been to a face-painting tent. It makes me think of the life energy the ring gives you. I can imagine the power flowing through my body as I wield one of the most powerful creations in all of superhero lore, constructing whatever wonders my imagination can imaginate. I can’t tell if the suit is all green or if they’ve went for a more tradition green and black but I have my fingers crossed for the latter. Only Daredevil can pull off the full colour bodysuit and that’s because he’s an evil, blind ninja-lawyer. Hal Jordan is a pilot, it’s just not the same.
